Monte Plata strengthens its educational system with the delivery of new classrooms

The province of Monte Plata joined the National Classroom Delivery Day promoted by the Dominican government this Monday. With the inauguration of modern spaces in three strategic educational centers, the State reaffirms its commitment to providing dignified, inclusive, and high-quality education for the entire student community in the region.

This initiative, coordinated by the School Infrastructure Directorate (DIE) under the management of engineer Roberto Herrera, seeks to strengthen the educational network of Regional 17. The main objective is to ensure that hundreds of children and young people have safe, modern, and adequate facilities for their academic development.

Benefited educational centers

  • El Bosque Educational Center, located in the Don Juan Municipal District (Educational District 17-02).
  • Fernando Arturo de Meriño Educational Center, located in the municipality of Yamasá (Educational District 17-01).
  • Cara Linda Educational Center, in Monte Plata (Educational District 17-02).

Today Monte Plata is present in this great day. Every classroom we deliver is a door that opens to the future of our students. The Government is delivering.

The execution of these works was possible thanks to the 24/7-365 Classrooms Plan, a program designed to accelerate the construction and improvement of school infrastructure. The technical supervision was in charge of architect José Vladimir Pimentel Custodio, zonal coordinator of the Higuamo Regional, who ensured that each space met the quality standards required by the Ministry of Education.

With these deliveries, significant progress is being made toward the national goal of closing the gap in physical spaces within the educational system, ensuring that no student is left out of the classrooms. Under the slogan “More classrooms, more future. Monte Plata educates,” the province continues to transform its pedagogical reality for present and future generations.
