Constitutionalist Military Foundation proposes strengthening constitutional education in political parties
In the framework of the commemoration of the 163rd anniversary of the Restoration of the Republic, the Foundation of Constitutionalist Military of April 24, 1965, has made an urgent call to the country’s political organizations. The entity proposes the creation of a so-called “fourth constitutional political force,” which would act as a transversal axis to promote knowledge and respect for the Magna Carta at all levels of society.
Andrés Fortunato Victoria, president of the foundation, clarified that this initiative does not seek the founding of a new party, but rather to establish a permanent civic education movement. The goal is for both traditional parties and new independent figures to incorporate constitutional training as a non-negotiable pillar to combat corruption, impunity, and the deterioration of institutions.
Churches, parties, unions, everyone must demand education because, if not, corruption will continue, and that is what the Fourth Force refers to. It is not that we are going to form a party, it is that we are going to fight so that all parties educate on the Constitution, whether they are the parties or whether they are outsiders.

Strategies for the dissemination of the Magna Carta
To ensure that knowledge of the Constitution becomes an everyday tool, the foundation has proposed various strategic actions, among which the following stand out:
- Media integration: Collaboration with media outlets to disseminate articles of the Constitution on radio programs, television, and digital platforms.
- National campaign: Installation of informative billboards with constitutional articles in the 32 provinces and 158 municipalities of the country.
- Educational promotion: Holding contests in educational centers and universities to encourage research on Dominican history, including the National Independence, the April 1965 Revolution, and the Restoration.
The impact of money on politics
The organization warned about the dangers of economic interests predominating over civic and ethical values. According to the foundation, when capital becomes the determining factor in politics, issues such as inequality, insecurity, and a lack of transparency in public management are intensified.
The entity emphasized that the citizenry must be trained to oversee the use of State funds and understand the responsibilities of officials. In conclusion, the Foundation of Constitutionalist Military Personnel maintains that honoring national sovereignty necessarily involves empowering the people through knowledge of their rights, duties, and the legal mechanisms to demand an upright public administration.
