Police actions result in the death of four alleged criminals
In a series of operations carried out in different parts of the country, four men linked to various criminal activities lost their lives after clashing with National Police units. Among the deceased are individuals identified for high-risk crimes, including homicides, armed robberies, and arms trafficking.
Linked to the shooting in Boca Chica
Two of the individuals killed are directly linked to the bloody incident that occurred on September 12 in the Los Coquitos sector, Boca Chica, an event that left two people dead and five injured. Authorities identified one of them as 19-year-old Wender Alcántara, nicknamed “El Compa” or “La Muerte,” who had an active arrest warrant for his alleged participation in said attack.
In this same context, authorities reported the death of Deivi Rosado Durán, known as “El Gordo” or “El Fantasma de Guindo.” According to intelligence reports, Rosado Durán was an active member of the criminal gang “Los Fantasmas,” whom he supplied with weaponry. Additionally, he was the subject of investigations for his alleged involvement in an assault perpetrated against an armored truck in the Monte Plata province last July.
Other operations against criminality
- Jordin Antonio Ogando: Alias “Jordin” or “El Maldito”, was wanted for his involvement in kidnappings and assaults on drivers in the municipality of Andrés, Boca Chica. During the confrontation in the National District, law enforcement seized a .380 caliber pistol with ammunition from him.
- Dilson Humberto Reynoso Cruz: Known as “Mandrake” or “El Mello”, 33 years old, was identified for a criminal record in Santiago dating back to 2021. He was linked to various cases of robbery and homicide.
Among the files pending against Reynoso Cruz, the incident that occurred on Circunvalación Avenue, in the Nibaje sector, where a 15-year-old minor lost his life after being struck by a firearm projectile, stands out.
With these interventions, the authorities seek to reduce violence rates and dismantle the gangs that keep various communities across the national territory in distress, reaffirming Alofoke Deportes’ commitment to keeping the public informed about the most relevant current events.
