Relatives of “El Boro” demand deeper investigations into his murder in Santo Domingo Este
Those close to Ambiorix Alexander Paulino, popularly known as “El Boro” and who was shot to death in July 2025 in Santo Domingo Este, have raised their voices to request that the Public Prosecutor’s Office exhaust all necessary investigative instances before closing the judicial case involving Dariel García Toledo, alias “El Sicario de la Lila” or “El Rey de los Tres Brazos”.
Currently, the process is in the Eighth Instruction Court of Santo Domingo Este, where an objection filed by the plaintiff against the request for dismissal of the case made by a representative of the Public Prosecutor’s Office is being debated.
Demands of the plaintiff
Lawyer Alfonso Mesa, legal representative for the families, made a direct appeal to the chief prosecutor of the province not to proceed with the archiving of the case without first completing the pending proceedings. According to the jurist, there are key elements that have not yet been properly examined and that are fundamental to clarifying the real circumstances of the homicide.
The relatives believe that there are still pending proceedings and that the investigation must continue until the circumstances in which the homicide occurred are established and the corresponding responsibilities are determined.

The family’s pain has been compounded by alleged irregularities during the process. Román González, the victim’s father, reported to the authorities that he has received financial offers from individuals linked to the defendant with the aim of having him drop the legal actions against García Toledo.
- They demand that the Public Prosecutor’s Office investigate the attempts to interfere in the judicial process.
- The family members maintain their firm stance of seeking justice and reject any attempt at impunity.
- The victim’s aunt, representing the mother, has requested that the magistrate in charge evaluate the arguments presented to allow the case to proceed to the next procedural stage.
As the Eighth Instruction Court continues to analyze the arguments, the family of “El Boro” reiterates their confidence that the judicial authorities will act with transparency and rigor, allowing the case to reach a conclusion that guarantees justice for their loved one.
