This breakthrough is especially notable as it is the greatest progress recorded among the ten leading nations in the rankings. The main driver of this climb was the historic silver medal obtained by the national team at the 2026 U-15 Baseball World Cup, reaffirming the great work in the formative categories.
Mastery in annual point accumulation
Beyond the general position, Dominican baseball stands out for its consistency during the current year. With 1,369 units accumulated in 2026, the country is in third place in this specific category, surpassed only by Japan, which has 1,493 points, and the United States, with 1,413.
