When analyzing the performance of the Dominican peso, a contrast between sectors is observed. In the banking sector, the local currency recorded a slight daily depreciation ranging between 0.04% and 0.06% compared to the previous day. Conversely, in the remittance and exchange agent segment, the peso showed strength by appreciating 0.07% in its buying and selling rates.

The monthly trend confirms a solid strengthening of the Dominican peso, with an accumulated appreciation that reflects stability compared to the rates recorded thirty days ago.

In monthly terms, the data is positive for the national currency. An appreciation ranging from 1.16% to 1.25% is reported in financial entities. Likewise, in the remittance sector, the peso has maintained a favorable performance with a strengthening situated between 0.72% and 1.01% compared to the previous month.
