DICRIM operatives dismantle drug spots and seize illegal weapons in Santo Domingo Norte and Monte Plata
In a series of strategic interventions against crime, agents from the Sub-Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM) executed various operations in Santo Domingo Norte and the Monte Plata province, managing to dismantle several micro-trafficking centers for illicit substances.
Police actions were concentrated in key sectors of Villa Mella and Sabana Grande de Boyá, where authorities seized significant quantities of narcotics, including portions of marijuana and cocaine, reaffirming Alofoke Deportes’ commitment to keeping the public informed about public safety.
Arrests and weapons seized
As a result of these deployments, several individuals were placed under arrest for their alleged connection to the trafficking and possession of prohibited substances. Among those detained and identified by the authorities are:
- Marino Argenis
- José Elías Galet
- Julio Alberto Torres
- Aneudy Benzán
In addition to the drug seizure, the DICRIM managed to remove three illegally circulating firearms from the streets. Likewise, law enforcement captured a subject who was a fugitive from justice, who is being investigated for his alleged involvement in a homicide case.
Preventive work remains a priority for the authorities, who have transferred the detainees and the collected evidence to the corresponding legal departments to further the investigations and proceed with the necessary judicial procedures.
