Strategic alliance: COOPNASALUD and CODOPSI promote the financial well-being of Dominican psychologists

In a significant step towards the socioeconomic strengthening of the health sector, the Savings, Credit and Multiple Services Cooperative of Health Workers (COOPNASALUD) and the Dominican College of Psychologists (CODOPSI) have formalized an inter-institutional cooperation agreement. This alliance seeks to provide solid financial tools and training opportunities to mental health professionals throughout the national territory.

The agreement was signed by José Armando Quezada, president of COOPNASALUD, and Miguel Víctor Lora, head of CODOPSI, during a ceremony held at the cooperative’s headquarters. With this signing, registered psychologists gain the opportunity to join as members of COOPNASALUD, accessing a wide range of savings products, credit facilities, and specialized services designed to improve their quality of life.

Financial education as a fundamental pillar

Beyond traditional financial services, the agreement places special emphasis on the development of financial education programs. The goal is to ensure that psychology professionals achieve greater economic stability, recognizing their vital role in the overall well-being of Dominican society.

The financial strengthening of health professionals represents an indirect contribution to the quality of services received by the population, positively impacting both the physical and mental health spheres.
