CONFENAGRO supports the National Mechanization Program to transform the Dominican countryside
The National Confederation of Agricultural Producers (CONFENAGRO) has expressed its firm support for the recent implementation of the National Mechanization Program (PRONAMEC), an initiative led by the Ministry of Agriculture that seeks to revolutionize production practices in the Dominican Republic. For the association, this project is a necessary strategic response to the current challenges of the sector, such as the constant rise in operating costs and the limited availability of labor in rural areas.

According to its directors, the program must be consolidated as a public policy of national scope and permanent nature, focused on a true technological transformation.
