Coercive measure hearing against Pastor Ángel Gabriel Capellán postponed
The judicial process against Pastor Ángel Gabriel Capellán, accused of alleged child abuse in San Cristóbal, took a new turn this Thursday. The hearing where the request for a coercive measure was to be heard was postponed and rescheduled for next Tuesday, October 15.
The decision to suspend the session arose due to technical issues linked to the legal representation of the parents of the victims involved in the case. As detailed by lawyer Luis Karela, one of the legal representatives of the mothers formally requested their incorporation into the file, which forced the court to postpone the meeting to ensure that all parties comply with the procedures established in the Code of Criminal Procedure.
