Cibao FC debuts at home against Delfines del Este in the Dominican Soccer League
The Cibao Stadium, located at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, dresses up this Tuesday to host Cibao FC’s first home match of the current 2026-2027 Dominican Football League (LDF) Opening Tournament season. The opening whistle is scheduled for 7:00 PM, pitting the orange team against Delfines del Este.
The Cibao team arrives at this match with high morale after their successful debut last Saturday, where they achieved an away victory against Jarabacoa FC at the Junior Mejía stadium. In that match, the strategy of head coach Junior Scheldeur was key, by integrating a mix of young talent and experience that ended up tipping the scales in their favor.
A promising start for the orange eleven
During the premiere, Cibao FC demonstrated depth in its roster. Players such as Nicolás Cruz, Miguel Muñoz, Cesarín Ortiz, and Javier had an outstanding performance from the start.
