Beyond the imminent risk of a fall, the practice of flying kites in areas with high vehicular traffic represents a constant threat to drivers. The presence of strings crossing the roads can cause serious accidents, especially for motorcyclists traveling through this busy area of the capital.
It is imperative that parents and guardians reinforce supervision over minors, preventing them from using road infrastructure for their games, thus protecting their physical integrity and that of those who transit through the area.
