Strengthening the healthcare network in Samaná with the delivery of the new Las Galeras Diagnostic Center
The municipality of Las Galeras, in the province of Samaná, has a renovated healthcare infrastructure as of today. During the official handover ceremony of the new Diagnostic Center, Deputy Cecilio García highlighted the positive impact that this project represents for the residents of the area and the community of Arroyo Barril.
The legislator took the opportunity to extend his gratitude to President Luis Abinader and the director of the National Health Service (SNS) for their constant support and the investment aimed at improving the quality of life for the inhabitants of this coastal district.
I have accompanied the community and the authorities since the beginning of this process, actively participating in every meeting and following up on the efforts until seeing the completion of the work on this center, which today is a reality for our people.

Next steps in health infrastructure
Beyond the current inauguration, the commitment to the health sector in the province continues. García reaffirmed that he will maintain his supervision and management work before the corresponding authorities to achieve the construction of the new diagnostic center in Rincón de Las Galeras.
This initiative is part of a broader strategic plan aimed at optimizing health services and ensuring that citizens in the most remote communities have access to timely diagnoses and quality care, without the need to travel long distances.
