In an operation led by the Homicide Investigation Division, 24-year-old Kiony de Jesús Luzón Valdez, popularly known as Bulin, surrendered to police authorities in the city of Santiago. The young man was being actively sought for his alleged participation in a violent incident that occurred last July.

Case details

Luzón Valdez was subject to a judicial arrest warrant, identified by number 2025-AJ0046034. The main charge Bulin faces is for attempted homicide against Adres Jerez Heredia, who was wounded by gunfire during an incident recorded on July 7, 2025, in the El Ejido sector.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack stemmed from a personal conflict, although security agencies are keeping the investigations open to determine precisely how the events unfolded.
