Alofoke Deportes prepares special coverage from New York for the UN General Assembly
New York City becomes the epicenter of world diplomacy with the celebration of the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations (UN). Given this event of global relevance, our journalistic team is moving to the Big Apple to offer detailed, first-hand coverage of the most important developments of this international meeting.
The news coverage, which will take place from September 20 to 26, will be led by journalist Ana Luisa Peguero and photojournalist Alexis de Los Ríos. Both professionals will be in charge of documenting the political and diplomatic events that will define the world leaders’ agenda during this key week.
Special attention to the Dominican agenda
One of the focal points of our report will be the participation of the Dominican Republic in this multilateral scenario. President Luis Abinader is expected to lead the national delegation and present his address to the General Assembly on September 23rd, where he will outline the priority issues for the Dominican State before the international community.
Our team will be deployed at strategic points at the UN headquarters to ensure our audience receives reports, exclusive interviews, and real-time broadcasts on the debates that impact the world.
Commitment to impactful information
With this special coverage, we reaffirm our commitment to keeping the Alofoke Deportes audience connected to the most significant events, offering agile, professional journalism with a global reach. We invite all our followers to stay tuned to our digital platforms, where we will be sharing minute-by-minute details of everything happening at the United Nations headquarters.
