Banreservas will boost Dominican tourism investment at the IFTM Top Resa 2026 fair

Banco de Reservas has confirmed its participation in the prestigious IFTM Top Resa 2026 tourism fair, an event that will take place in Paris, France, from September 15 to 17. The financial institution’s main objective is to project the Dominican Republic as a top-tier destination for foreign investment, strengthening ties with developers and leaders in the global tourism sector.

The official delegation will be led by Ysidro García, Senior Executive Vice President of Business, representing the entity’s Executive President, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera. The team will also feature the strategic participation of Deyanira Pappaterra, Vice President of Tourism Business, along with Kenneth Martí and Yamel Pimentel.

Growth strategy and financial backing

During the fair at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Banreservas executives will carry out an agenda focused on showcasing the credit facilities and financial support the bank offers to strengthen the diversification and expansion of the Dominican tourism industry.

The Dominican Republic offers exceptional conditions to continue expanding and diversifying its tourism offering. At Banreservas, we are committed to supporting investments that contribute to that growth, placing our financial capacity and experience at the service of projects that generate jobs, boost local economies, and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.

As Dr. Aguilera highlighted, these types of international meetings are fundamental for consolidating relationships with key market players, allowing for the exploration of opportunities in both established tourist hubs and new emerging areas with high development potential.

Dominican presence on the European stage

Banreservas will join the national delegation alongside the Ministry of Tourism, hotel chains, airlines, and tour operators, consolidating a united front to attract capital to the country. IFTM Top Resa remains one of the most influential professional forums in France, bringing together the main decision-makers in the global travel industry.
