Santo Domingo Norte celebrates first municipal graduation of the BTI program
An atmosphere of joy and hope was experienced this Saturday at the Mirador Norte Park, where nearly 800 students from public schools in Santo Domingo Norte celebrated their high school graduation. This event marked a historic milestone as it was the first municipal graduation of the Well-being, Triumph, and Momentum (BTI) program, an initiative promoted by the local City Hall under the administration of Mayor Betty Gerónimo.
The BTI program’s main objective is to provide comprehensive support to young people during the final stage of their secondary education, facilitating the necessary resources so that the completion of their school studies is a memorable and dignified experience.
New academic horizons
For the graduates, this degree is not just the closing of a cycle, but the starting point towards ambitious professional goals. Many of the young people expressed their firm intention to continue their education at the university level, highlighting high-demand areas such as technology, computing, and social sciences.
