Blow to drug trafficking: Panamanian authorities seize massive shipment in Arraiján
In a major operation carried out by the National Police of Panama, authorities managed to seize 1,380 kilograms of suspected drugs. The action took place at a logistics center located in the Arraiján district, Panama Oeste province, following exhaustive intelligence work and surveillance by law enforcement officers.
The seized cargo has been placed under the custody of the competent authorities, who have initiated the necessary proceedings to clarify the facts. So far, security agencies have not detailed the specific nature of the substance nor have they confirmed the apprehension of individuals directly linked to this finding, keeping the case under an active investigation to determine its origin and final destination.

This operation in West Panama adds to a series of strategic interventions that Panamanian authorities have recently intensified to combat organized crime. Recently, a significant blow to drug trafficking was recorded in the province of Chiriquí, where security forces intercepted a vessel in waters south of Punta Burica.
