Trump Considers Hosting a UFC Event at the White House
Former President Donald Trump has revealed his plans to hold a UFC event on the grounds of the White House, as part of the festivities to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States. Trump, a known UFC enthusiast and close friend of the league’s president, Dana White, made the announcement in Iowa during the launch of a year of celebrations that will culminate on July 4, 2026.
In addition to the UFC event, a festival is planned at the National Mall in Washington and an athletic competition for high school students from all over the country. A White House spokesperson indicated that no further details were available regarding the former president’s announcement. Trump has been seen on several occasions enjoying UFC fights, including an appearance after his re-election in 2024 and another last month alongside White.“We have a lot of land there,” Trump said.
