Baisangur Susurkaev Debuts at UFC 319 After a Convincing Victory in Contender Series
The world of mixed martial arts is preparing to welcome a new promise. Baisangur Susurkaev, after securing his contract in the Contender Series, will make his debut in the UFC octagon at event 319.
Susurkaev, with an impressive record of 9-0, will face Eric Nolan (8-3) in the preliminaries of the event to be held in Chicago.
The speed with which Susurkaev has been scheduled to fight is remarkable, demonstrating the organization’s confidence in his talent. Following his first-round knockout victory in the Contender Series, UFC CEO Dana White promised to expedite his debut.
White committed to arranging Susurkaev’s first fight as soon as possible, keeping his word in less than 24 hours.
This fact marks a milestone in the history of the Contender Series, setting a record difficult to beat.
The UFC 319 event, which originally had a fight scheduled between King Green and Diego Ferreira, underwent a modification with the cancellation of this bout. However, it is expected to be rescheduled at a later date.
Susurkaev, representing Chechnya, joins the UFC 319 fight card, which includes the participation of Khamzat Chimaev, who will seek his first championship against Dricus Du Plessis in the main event.
Susurkaev, known for his aggressiveness, has finished seven of his nine fights in the first round. Nolan, his opponent, will also make his UFC debut, arriving with a streak of four consecutive victories, including knockouts in his last three fights.
