Following Jack Della Maddalena’s victory in the UFC welterweight championship, it’s no surprise that he now tops Alofoke Deportes’ 170-pound rankings.
The Australian demonstrated his skill with precise strikes and evasive footwork, dethroning Belal Muhammad, who drops one position in the rankings.
Changes in the rankings are not limited to this category. Women’s flyweight also experienced significant movements, especially after the title fight at UFC 315.
Valentina Shevchenko, after successfully defending her belt, maintains first place. Manon Fiorot, despite the defeat, moves up one place from third. This is because Alexa Grasso, who occupied second place, lost more convincingly. Natalia Silva, who defeated Grasso, is positioned for the first time among the top five.
Two former champions leave the rankings. José Aldo, former featherweight champion, is no longer in the top 10 of bantamweight after losing to Aiemann Zahabi and announcing his retirement. Jessica Andrade, former strawweight champion, also leaves the rankings in both her division and flyweight, after being finished by Jasmine Jasudavicius, who enters the top 10 of the 125-pound division.
