Altuve, out of the lineup due to injury
Houston Astros infielder/outfielder José Altuve was not in Sunday’s starting lineup against the Cincinnati Reds due to a right hamstring issue.
Altuve had to leave Saturday’s game against the Reds due to the injury. The team is expected not to put the veteran on the injured list for now.
Astros manager Joe Espada said before Sunday’s game that he expects Altuve to be able to play again on Monday or Tuesday in the home series against the Kansas City Royals.
