Scottie Scheffler Confirms His Participation in the Genesis Scottish Open
World number one, Scottie Scheffler, has confirmed his participation in next month’s Genesis Scottish Open.
The three-time Majors winner joins a stellar field at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. Among the prominent competitors are Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Ludvig Åberg, Sepp Straka, and defending champion Robert MacIntyre. The tournament will take place from July 10th to 13th. Scheffler, after his recent victory at The Memorial, where he secured his third title of the season, achieved a tie for third place in his last appearance at the 2023 Scottish Open.I’m looking forward to returning to the Genesis Scottish Open next month. It’s an event and a course that I enjoy playing, as we only get the opportunity to play links golf a couple of times a year. Playing on such a strong course and in front of the Scottish fans is always fun for us.
