Charlie Woods follows in his father’s footsteps with a new hole-in-one

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. – Charlie Woods, the 16-year-old son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, has once again demonstrated his talent on the course. In the final round of the Junior Players Championship, held at TPC Sawgrass, Woods achieved an impressive hole-in-one.

This achievement adds to his already remarkable record, recalling the hole-in-one he achieved last December during the final round of the PNC Championship. As in that occasion, Charlie wasn’t entirely sure the ball had gone in until he heard the reaction of the public.

Charlie Woods finished the round with a score of 72 strokes, which allowed him to tie for 31st place in this American Junior Golf Association event, held on the same course where his father, Tiger Woods, won two Players Championship titles.

This time, Woods finished 16 strokes behind Miles Russell, who with a round of 70 strokes took the victory by two strokes. Russell, who reached the semifinals of the U.S. Amateur this month, is an alternate for the Walker Cup.

Sunday wasn’t just Charlie Woods’ day. Guus Lafeber, from the Netherlands, also achieved a hole-in-one on the 8th hole, a par 3. Lafeber finished in 19th place.
