Verstappen Dominates Las Vegas GP: Closes Gap to Norris in F1 Lead
Max Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix, achieving his 69th victory in his career and the sixth of the season. The Dutch driver dominated the competition, closing the gap in the fight for the Formula 1 championship.

Verstappen, starting from second position on the grid, overtook Lando Norris, who had secured the pole position, at the first corner of the initial lap. Furthermore, Verstappen secured an additional point by setting the fastest lap, culminating the race with a lead of over 20 seconds over Norris, who finished in second place.

George Russell, winner of last year’s race, secured third place, solidifying a strong performance for Mercedes. Oscar Piastri placed in fourth position.

The race was a bit lonely.
