Racing Bulls Speaks Out on Controversial Gesture Towards Lando Norris

The Racing Bulls team has issued an official statement following the viral spread of a video showing a person in the team’s uniform making a gesture of disapproval towards McLaren driver Lando Norris during the podium ceremony at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The incident, captured on video, shows the person, dressed in Racing Bulls attire, addressing the crowd and making the “thumbs down” gesture, while boos were heard.

The Racing Bulls team has stated that the matter has been dealt with internally and that the action does not represent the “spirit” of the team, emphasizing the importance of respect on and off the track.

We are aware of the podium video from the weekend. It does not reflect the values of our team or the spirit of VCARB.
