Lando Norris evaluates Max Verstappen as a true contender for the Formula 1 world championship. However, the McLaren driver insists that it will not be necessary to designate Oscar Piastri as the team’s number one.
Verstappen arrives at the Singapore Grand Prix with two consecutive victories and a 69-point lead over Piastri. There are still 199 points at stake in the remaining seven races.
In the last race in Azerbaijan, Piastri suffered an accident, while Norris finished in seventh position.
