Hamilton Confides in Ferrari’s Potential

The driver Lewis Hamilton has reaffirmed his confidence in Ferrari as a title contender during his time with the team. The Briton, who will join the Italian team in 2025, sees a promising future despite recent difficulties. After finishing eighth in the Singapore Grand Prix, Hamilton has expressed his optimism on social media, highlighting the team’s responsiveness to challenges. In the Singapore race, Hamilton suffered a time penalty that relegated him to eighth position due to track infractions. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, also had problems and finished sixth. The weekend in Singapore was another disappointing episode for Ferrari, which has yet to achieve any victory in the current season.

Despite the setbacks, Hamilton focuses on the positive aspects and the team’s ability to overcome difficulties.

“I focus on the positive on the track,” Hamilton wrote. “The media headlines only tell one story, one where we don’t do things right, or things don’t go as we want. But what I have focused on in recent months is the other story. The one of how this team responds when things go wrong. How we get up and try again.”

The driver highlighted that, despite the correct strategy, a problem with the brakes affected his performance in Singapore. Hamilton was proud of the team and assured that they will work to improve and obtain the results they deserve.

Hamilton also reflected on the support received after the death of his dog, Roscoe. “After a difficult week, it’s good to be home. I had time to reflect on my trip from Singapore and the main emotion I feel is gratitude,” he wrote. “The support and love I’ve felt since I lost Roscoe has been a powerful reminder that, even when things sometimes seem dark, there’s a lot of good in the world. You just have to look for it.”
