Terri Harper Joins Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions

The three-division world champion, Terri Harper, has signed with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the promoter led by Jake Paul. Harper (16-2-2, 6 KOs) currently holds the WBO lightweight title, in addition to having conquered crowns in the super welterweight and super lightweight categories. MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian made the announcement on Wednesday.

I am very excited to announce that we have signed Terri Harper. Terri is the UK’s first three-division female world champion. She has fought in five different divisions, with 20 fights in her career.

Bidarian continued explaining MVP’s vision for Harper, comparing it to the trajectory of Amanda Serrano, a seven-division champion.

When I look at Amanda [Serrano], a seven-division champion, with 42 fights in her career, and how we boosted her profile, her potential, and what she could achieve, I see Terri with the same ingredients. A phenomenal story, like Amanda, not much amateur experience. She has shown that she can be a champion in different weight categories. We believe the future is very bright for her.

The 28-year-old boxer won her first world title in 2020, obtaining the WBC super lightweight belt after defeating Eva Wahlström on points. Harper has participated in important fights against Alycia Baumgardner and Sandy Ryan, losing both by knockout, before regaining the WBO lightweight title by defeating Rhiannon Dixon in September 2024. Harper, formerly under Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promotion, joins a growing list of prominent UK female boxers who have joined MVP. Chantelle Cameron, Savannah Marshall, and Ellie Scotney are some of those who have also recently joined the promoter.
