The exciting boxing weekend, led by Terence Crawford’s masterful performance against Canelo Álvarez, generated significant changes in the divisional rankings. Crawford, after one of his best performances, took over the super middleweight throne, displacing his position at 154 pounds. The unanimous decision victory over Canelo in Las Vegas catapulted him to the top of the 168-pound division, relegating Canelo to second place.

On the fight card, Lester Martínez secured a place in the super middleweight rankings after a close technical draw against WBC interim champion Christian Mbilli. Despite a fight that favored Martínez, who showed resilience and good rhythm, the bout ended in a tie. Mbilli, although he started strong, faded in the final rounds.

In Nagoya, Japan, Naoya Inoue, another outstanding pound-for-pound fighter, used his intelligence to dominate Murodjon Akhmadliev and retain his undisputed status in the super bantamweight division by unanimous decision. Inoue consolidates his position at the top of the division, while Akhmadliev remains in third place. In the bantamweight division, Christian Medina achieved an impressive technical knockout in the fourth round against Yoshiki Takei, conquering the WBO world title. Medina dominated from the start, sending Takei to the canvas in the first round and finishing the fight with a series of powerful blows. Medina debuts in the ranking at number 3, while Takei suffers his first defeat and drops to fourth place. Divisional boxing rankings highlight the best boxers in each weight category, based on recent results and performances. Boxers who change divisions will be included in the new category, if applicable, once they fight in it. Champions holding titles in two divisions may be ranked in both. Boxers inactive for more than 12 months, with no fights scheduled, will be removed from the rankings until they compete again. Likewise, any boxer who tests positive for performance-enhancing substances will be excluded and may re-enter after their next fight.
