Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford: A Fight with Extra Incentive
The expected showdown between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford on September 13th in Las Vegas already has an added attraction. Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and the Saudi Boxing Federation, announced a special knockout bonus. The announcement was made during the press conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the beginning of the promotion of the fight. Alalshikh has expressed his desire to eradicate fights where one boxer “runs around the ring” and the other chases him. To achieve this, he will implement this incentive in future events that he promotes, starting with the fight between Álvarez and Crawford. We will have no more [Tom & Jerry fights].
