Carlos Alcaraz is crowned champion of Roland Garros 2025! The Spanish tennis player defeated Jannik Sinner in an epic final that will be etched in the memory of the fans.

The final score was 4-6, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (10-2), in a match that lasted five hours and 29 minutes. This battle on the court becomes the second longest men’s Grand Slam final in history, surpassed only by the match at the 2012 Australian Open between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

With this victory, Alcaraz adds his fifth Grand Slam title. At 22 years and 34 days old, he positions himself as the third youngest man in the Open Era to reach this figure.

Before this Sunday, Alcaraz had a 0-8 record in Grand Slam tournaments when losing the first two sets. For his part, Sinner maintained a streak of 39 consecutive victories in Majors after winning the first two sets. Alcaraz managed to save three match points in the fourth set, becoming the third man in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam title after saving at least three match points.

Alcaraz’s victory generated a wave of congratulations after this classic.
