Kyle Larson Unscathed After Shocking Sprint Car Crash
NASCAR’s renowned driver, Kyle Larson, walked away unscathed from a spectacular crash that occurred Friday night during a sprint car race in Wisconsin.
The former Cup Series champion was in second position in the World of Outlaws race at the Plymouth Dirt Track when his winged vehicle suffered multiple rollovers before impacting the retaining wall.
Fortunately, Larson, 32, was able to get out of the car without injuries. According to his statements, the right rear axle, or something similar, broke.
He just launched me and I was a spectator. It’s a shame, but I felt really good following Rico Abreu and finally catching traffic and getting to run. I’m glad I’m okay, it was a big hit, but overall, I feel good.

In addition to his participation in stock car and sprint car races, Larson has competed in the Indianapolis 500 in the last two years.
Larson is scheduled to drive the No. 5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in Sunday’s Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.
The 2021 Cup Series champion has three wins and ten top 10 finishes this season, placing second in the overall standings, 48 points behind the leader, William Byron.
