La Vega, Dominican Republic – The Summer Baseball League held its awards ceremony, recognizing the most outstanding players of the 2025 season. The event took place at the Casa de la Cultura in La Vega. The league president, Juan Núñez Nepomuceno, led the activity, highlighting the circuit’s growth and the commitment of the participating organizations throughout the season. Players, managers, technical staff and guests gathered to celebrate the most outstanding performances of the tournament, which had the Mineros de Bonao as champion.

Season Award Winners

The main season awards were announced:
  • Most Valuable Player: Jomar Reyes (Mineros de Bonao), for his offensive impact and leadership.
  • Pitcher of the Year: Wilber Pérez (Mineros de Bonao), for his dominance on the mound.
  • Manager of the Year: Evaristo Lantigua (Reales de Santiago), for his outstanding management.
  • Rookie of the Year: Jaims Martínez (Mineros de Bonao), for his outstanding debut.
