Nick Kyrgios Misses Wimbledon Due to Injury

Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios, runner-up at Wimbledon in 2022, will not participate in the Grand Slam tournament or the rest of the grass season, as announced this Tuesday.

Kyrgios, known for his powerful game and personality on the court, has faced injury problems in recent seasons, including wrist and knee surgeries.

So far in 2025, the 30-year-old player has only played five singles matches, with a record of one win and four losses.

Her most recent participation was at the Miami Open in March, where she managed to win a match for the first time in almost two and a half years.

I’ve had a small setback in my recovery and unfortunately I won’t be able to return for the grass season this year.
