Tsarukyan Climbs Lightweight Rankings After Dominating Hooker at UFC Fight Night

The fighter Arman Tsarukyan proved his worth in the lightweight division by submitting Dan Hooker in the main event of UFC Fight Night held in Doha, Qatar. This victory was crucial for Tsarukyan, who had not competed in over a year and a half.

Saturday’s triumph not only served as a reminder of his skill, but also allowed Tsarukyan to regain a spot in the ESPN rankings. His previous inactivity had excluded him from the rankings, but his outstanding performance catapulted him to number 2 in the 155-pound division.

Furthermore, in the welterweight category, the match between Ian Machado Garry and Belal Muhammad caused a change in the rankings. Machado Garry, after his victory, climbed from fifth to fourth place, while Muhammad dropped to sixth.
