Most Valuable Promotions has unveiled the fight card that will accompany the highly anticipated clash between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event will be broadcast live on Netflix. The main structure of the fight card remains largely the same, similar to the one originally planned for the Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight. Alycia Baumgardner will defend her unified super-featherweight title against Leila Beaudoin, serving as the co-main event. However, a significant change has occurred in the fight card. Anderson Silva will not face Chris Weidman in the initial bout. Instead, Tyron Woodley will step into the ring to face Silva in a six-round cruiserweight fight. Both Silva and Woodley have suffered defeats against Jake Paul in the past. Silva lost by unanimous decision to Paul in 2022, while Woodley was defeated twice by “The Problem Child”: once by split decision in August 2021 and a harsh knockout loss in the rematch in December of that same year.
