PSG Celebrations Marred by Tragedy: Two Dead and a Policeman in a Coma
French authorities have reported on a series of regrettable incidents during the Paris Saint-Germain celebrations following their historic victory in the Champions League. These events have left a tragic toll, including two deceased fans and a police officer in a coma. According to the national police service, a 17-year-old lost his life after being stabbed in the city of Dax, during a street party organized by PSG supporters.Additionally, the Interior Minister’s office reported the death of a man in Paris, who was the victim of a traffic accident while riding his scooter during the celebrations. The circumstances of both fatal incidents are being investigated.
Another worrying fact is the condition of a police officer in the northwest of France. The officer suffered serious eye injuries after being accidentally hit by fireworks and is in an induced coma.
Despite the fact that most celebrations were peaceful, some sectors turned violent, resulting in the arrest of hundreds of people.
