Marileidy Paulino remains unstoppable: Wins in Philadelphia and dominates the 400-meter dash
Dominican athlete Marileidy Paulino continues to reap success in her sporting career. This Saturday, the sprinter won the victory in the third stop of the Grand Slam Track, held at the Franklin Field stadium in Philadelphia.
Paulino, recognized for her impressive performance on the track, once again demonstrated her superiority in the 400-meter dash. The Olympic champion crossed the finish line with a time of 49.12 seconds, solidifying her position as one of the most outstanding athletes of the moment.
The “Ebony Gazelle” has chosen to participate in this circuit, organized by the renowned athlete Michael Johnson, instead of competing in the Diamond League.On the second day of the Grand Slam, held in Miami from May 2nd to 4th, Paulino had already demonstrated his talent by winning the 200 meters with a national record (22.30) and also the 400 meters.
In this new victory, Paulino surpassed her rival Salwa Eid Naser of Bahrain, who recorded a time of 49.47 seconds.
The Dominican athlete has a new appointment this Sunday at 4:43 in the afternoon, when she will compete in the 200-meter dash, another of her specialties.
