FRISCO, Texas – The [Dallas Cowboys](/nfl/team/_/name/dal/dallas-cowboys) are preparing to face the [Philadelphia Eagles](/nfl/team/_/name/phi/philadelphia-eagles) this Sunday at AT&T Stadium, anticipating a greater prominence of defensive tackle [Jalen Carter](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4685759/jalen-carter). Carter was ejected before the start of the inaugural game due to an incident with the Cowboys quarterback, [Dak Prescott](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/2577417/dak-prescott). Carter received a one-game suspension, which he already served by missing the previous game.
Carter himself showed no interest in reviving the incident on Thursday. It depends on what he says first. But probably something friendly. Get on his side.
Dak Prescott
The Eagles took the victory in the first matchup of the season, with a score of 24-20, despite Carter’s absence. Tyler Smith, Cowboys’ left guard, who was near Prescott, did not witness the incident. We’re not worried about that. We’re here where we are now. And at the end of the day, everybody’s playing, so that’s all we’re worried about.
Jalen Carter
According to Cowboys offensive coordinator Klayton Adams, Carter’s ejection did not alter the team’s game plan.I just remember they threw a flag. We were in the huddle and he was talking to (rookie guard Tyler Booker) or whatever, and then Dak came up and said something. Then, you know what happened. I didn’t see it until the ref said something and Dak said something.
Tyler Smith
The Cowboys have a lot of respect for Carter and recognize the impact he has on the game.We had the initial plays planned the way we wanted to run them, and we called what we were going to call. I don’t know if there was really any adjustment. You always have a plan for a player like that, but I don’t think you go in thinking ‘Oh, we’re going to scrap this.’ It was designed the way it was designed, so I don’t think anything really changed.
Klayton Adams
A big difference. He’s a really good player and he’s in a group of really good players. Jordan Davis is obviously an incredible player too. Jaelan Phillips, I mean, the defense… this is a tremendous defense. I think they’re the best in the league. It’s going to be very difficult, but we love that challenge and we also think we’re pretty good.
