Santo Domingo.- American point guard Lamonte Bearden has started the 2025 season of the Dominican National Basketball League (LNB) with an outstanding performance, leading the Cañeros del Este and excelling in multiple individual statistics.
Bearden has guided his team to a strong start to the season, with a 2-0 record.

The player has not only been fundamental to the success of his team, but has also established himself as a key figure in the tournament. In his first two matches, Bearden has demonstrated an impressive performance:

In the second encounter of the season, Cañeros del Este defeated Titanes del Sur with a score of 83-74. Bearden shone again, accumulating 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, solidifying himself as the main figure of the match.
The crucial moment of the game arrived at 7:25 minutes of the last quarter, when Yeison Colomé scored a three-pointer that put the score 65-62 in favor of the Cañeros. From that moment on, the Eastern team maintained the advantage until the end.
