Explosive Start in the NFC North
The season will begin with an NFC North divisional clash on September 8, where the Chicago Bears, led by head coach Ben Johnson, will host the Minnesota Vikings. This game will mark Johnson’s debut as head coach of the Bears, following his time with the Detroit Lions.
This matchup will also be the debut of J.J. McCarthy, the new Vikings quarterback, who missed the 2024 season due to an injury. McCarthy, selected at the 10th pick of the draft, will face Caleb Williams, the Bears quarterback, who was the first overall pick.
Doubleheader on Monday Night Football
The 2025 season of Monday Night Football will include four doubleheaders. The first will be in Week 2, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visiting the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Chargers facing the Las Vegas Raiders on September 15.
The other doubleheaders will be played in weeks 4, 6, and 7, promising a season full of action.
