Jayson Tatum undergoes surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair a rupture of his right Achilles tendon, the team announced.
Tatum suffered the injury at the end of the last quarter of Monday night’s loss to the New York Knicks.
The Boston team reported that there is currently no timetable available for his return, but noted that he is expected to make a full recovery.
