Chicago will host the WNBA All-Star Game in 2026

The city of Chicago is preparing to host the WNBA All-Star Game in 2026, the league announced on Thursday. The event will take place at the United Center on Saturday, July 25th. This will be the second time Chicago hosts the prestigious event. The first time was in 2022, but on that occasion it was held at the Wintrust Arena, the main venue of the Chicago Sky of the WNBA. The United Center, home to the NBA’s Bulls and the NHL’s Blackhawks, offers a larger capacity, with around 20,900 seats for basketball, compared to the 10,380 of the Wintrust Arena. However, Wintrust Arena will still be part of the All-Star festivities, as it will be the stage for the three-point contest and the skills challenge, scheduled for July 24. WNBA Live, the interactive festival for the league’s fans, will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago during All-Star weekend. The WNBA is thrilled to bring the AT&T WNBA All-Star back to Chicago, which will undoubtedly offer an unforgettable competition and community activities. The event represents the second consecutive All-Star Game in the Midwest for the WNBA, after Indiana hosted this year.

The Chicago Sky are thrilled to welcome the 2026 WNBA All-Star game back to Chicago. We are eager to build on the success of the previous All-Star game and celebrate the explosive growth of the league by showcasing the biggest stars of the WNBA on a world-class stage.
