Mascherano Admits Mistakes After Inter Miami Defeat
Inter Miami CF coach Javier Mascherano admitted this Monday the need to correct key aspects after the recent 4-1 defeat against Minnesota United. This result, which adds to a negative streak, represents the team’s worst loss in an MLS match, where Lionel Messi was present.

The team comes into this match with an unfavorable record, having lost four of the last five matches in all competitions in the last three weeks. This is the team’s worst streak since the beginning of 2024, when they suffered a five-match winless streak.
Mascherano pointed out that individual errors and lack of attention have been significant factors in the 14 goals conceded in the last five matches, rather than a collective defensive problem.
Looking ahead to the midweek match, the team, currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, has focused its efforts on strengthening team cohesion and chemistry to achieve a comeback.
