FC Barcelona has received the first occupancy license for phase 1A of the Spotify Camp Nou remodeling. This approval, confirmed by sources from the Barcelona City Council, allows the club to reopen the stadium with a provisional capacity of 27,000 spectators. This milestone comes after meeting the safety requirements established by the city council. However, the Blaugrana team will not immediately return to the iconic venue in the Les Corts neighborhood. The club is focused on obtaining the license for phase 1B, which will increase the capacity to 45,000 seats.Due to the delay in the approval of phase 1A, your concession coincides with the next license. For this reason, the club has decided to maintain its original plan and continue playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for the time being. This stadium has been the home of Barcelona’s matches for the last two seasons (2023-24 and 2024-25), including the most recent matches against Real Sociedad and Paris Saint-Germain.The team led by Hansi Flick will also play their next home matches at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium:
- Saturday, October 18 against Girona in LaLiga
- Tuesday, October 21 against Olympiacos in the Champions League
