Jeremy Sochan will miss the start of the season with the Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs forward, Jeremy Sochan, will not be available for the season opener against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday due to a sprain in his left wrist.

Sochan suffered the injury during a workout on Wednesday, in a 5-on-5 practice, while preparing to return from a calf strain.

The calf injury occurred in August while training with the Polish national team. This injury prevented him from participating in the EuroBasket tournament and also caused him to miss the Spurs’ preseason.

The Spurs will also start the season without De’Aaron Fox, who is in rehabilitation due to a hamstring strain. According to the team, both Fox and Sochan are expected to be back for the second or third game of the season.

In the last season, Sochan averaged 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 54 games.
