WrestleMania Expands: Saudi Arabia, New Destination for the Spectacle

Attention, wrestling fanatics! WrestleMania, WWE’s flagship event, will break boundaries and move to Saudi Arabia in 2027 as part of the “Riyadh Season”. This announcement marks a significant milestone in the history of the “Showcase of the Immortals”. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has been held exclusively in North American cities. Now, the vision of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, to take the event global is materializing.

This is an opportunity to show the world that WWE is a global brand that reaches every corner and excites fans around the world.

The official announcement comes after the revelation by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, in a now-deleted live Snapchat video, where he confirmed the news.

WrestleMania is already the most important date on the wrestling calendar, and this announcement marks a significant moment in our partnership with WWE. Our vision is to elevate this iconic event to unprecedented heights and deliver a WrestleMania like never before seen.

WWE has been holding events in Saudi Arabia since 2018, thanks to a billion-dollar deal with the Kingdom that includes multiple shows over ten years. Next year’s Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE’s “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026, marking the second consecutive time the city will host the event.
