Los Angeles, USA – US Vice President JD Vance has issued a curious warning to future tourists visiting the country for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, an event that will be held jointly with Canada and Mexico.
Warning for visitors
Vance, in a recent press conference focused on the organization of the sporting event, was clear: “We want them to celebrate. We want them to watch the match, but when it’s over, they will have to go home.” The vice president anticipates the arrival of visitors from “nearly a hundred countries”.
Otherwise, they will have to speak with the secretary (Kristy) Noem

The statement, made in a jocular tone, was made within the framework of the first joint working meeting to prepare for the World Cup, which will feature the participation of 48 national teams.
Key figures were present at the meeting, such as former President Donald Trump, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Secretary Kristy Noem, and Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy.
Trump, during his speech, suggested that Russia’s participation in the World Cup could incentivize the end of the war in Ukraine.
It should be remembered that FIFA and UEFA sanctioned Russian teams in February 2022, preventing them from participating in competitions until further notice.
