
The Premier League match between Tottenham and Aston Villa has been rescheduled.
The modification was made to give Tottenham more preparation time in case they advance to the Europa League final.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, May 18, the match will be played on Friday, May 16, thus giving the Spurs more time ahead of the Europa League final, scheduled for May 21.
The team led by Ange Postecoglou has not yet secured its place in the final.
However, Tottenham holds a 3-1 advantage in their tie against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt, following the first leg.
The second leg will be played on Thursday.
In case of advancing, Tottenham could face Manchester United in the final, which would be played in Bilbao.
United holds a 3-0 advantage over Athletic Club after the first leg, with the return leg at Old Trafford also on Thursday.
